Voice For Health & Progress
  • Nancy, a wife and mother, is no longer able to work due to a disability, but she is grateful because she has a strong support system. While she helps to care for her adult daughter who struggles with cerebral palsy, Nancy contends with her own health challenges including rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, hormone replacement, gastric reflux, and hypertension.

Both Nancy and her daughter are Medicare Part D beneficiaries, and she says they would not be able to survive without this vital benefit. In addition to compromising their health, losing Medicare Part D would force them to go without basic living needs.

Nancy’s message to Congress: Please continue to support Medicare Part D because this program is helping millions of people to live without having to make tough choices between their health and daily living needs.
