Voice For Health & Progress
  • Russell is a young Medicare Part D beneficiary who contends with a disability that makes keeping a full-time job challenging. Before enrolling in the program, he was not able to afford necessary medicines to treat a severe case of iron deficiency. This left him lethargic and dealing with frequent fainting episodes. Thankfully, since getting his prescriptions, he is feeling much more energized, even securing a part-time job.

Russell joined Voices for Health & Progress to make a difference in the lives of others. He hopes his story will speak for young people, like him, who are in need of a program like Medicare Part D to help them manage a chronic condition.

He wants Congress to know that Medicare Part D is extremely important because it improves quality of life for Americans of all ages.
